I am a firm believer to the clause "no cruel or unusual punishment." However there should be added another clause stating "no milder and laxer punishment." Since I also don't believe in Hell, whatever suffering they deserve should be done while they are alive.
That guy who raped and murdered the two thirteen year olds? Sodomized with a splintery broom and left to bleed to death.
