if you don't believe in that... all it means is you haven't expierenced it.
Lots of people actually feel they have though.
Or for that matter... even dated or met more then a couple people. I mean it takes different amounts of time to know different people. There are some people you meet and know in a day. Others you have to feel out for a long time. It's not surprising at all that it might take forever to feel if you REALLY feel that way about somebody... and it's not surprsing it might take no time at all depending. |
Love arises out of feeling compassion and similar to someone after a long time, it's not some spontaneous nonsense like Hollywood would have you believe.

Not everyone would agree with you. There are plenty of people who say they knew they were going to be with the person as soon as they met.

Desperate people, maybe.

You shouldn't down play something you haven't experienced
|
You shouldn't act like you know me. People only feel that illusion when they think of a girl they think looks good and give her fictional perfections. Normally, they fall in love not with the actual person but the idea of the person in their minds.
Thus love at first sight is garbage.

Actually I wasn't acting like I know you, I figured if you had experienced love at first sight, then you wouldn't downplay it. I understand that not every one believes in it, but it doesn't make it garbage. I get it, you don't believe and I do, so we'll endlessly argue this point. I don't care how you feel about it, and you don't care how i feel about it, but we shouldn't ridicule others opinions.
