Or for that matter... even dated or met more then a couple people. I mean it takes different amounts of time to know different people. There are some people you meet and know in a day. Others you have to feel out for a long time. It's not surprising at all that it might take forever to feel if you REALLY feel that way about somebody... and it's not surprsing it might take no time at all depending.

Love arises out of feeling compassion and similar to someone after a long time, it's not some spontaneous nonsense like Hollywood would have you believe.

Not everyone would agree with you.  There are plenty of people who say they knew they were going to be with the person as soon as they met.
