That said, GoW:3 might surpass MGS4, but it wont do so until after GT:5 is released. Once GT:5 is released it will destroy both of them.
Hell it even has a chance of beating them both COMBINED.

MGS 4 is at 4.6m and does have a shot at 5m, and the top selling GoW game was 1 with 3.2m, so I think it is unlikely that GoW III will get to 5m

Still there are other factors that make it difficult to predict by comparing it to those numbers. Such as pirating. I also believe that the Others data may be incomplete. Not to mention that the next gen consoles were coming out right when GOW II released...
