Valve is launching their own Source Engine-based games first, with Steam for Mac, in April. They expect 3rd parties to follow suit, so we don't have dates for the non-Valve Steam games yet. (But Wikipedia says there are over 1,000 games on Steam. If only 10% of those come to Mac this is pretty huge news.) I don't know about you guys, but this news was made for me. I downloaded the Orange Box on my PC and then some jerk stole it and I'm left with a Mac. This will bring me back to my precious Portal. This is a beautiful thing. |
