Has to be one of the Top 2 dumbest things I've heard this month.
1. He could've still placed it out of the reach of his child.
2. If it was earlier in the evening that he heard the prowler he could've investigated and then called the authorities if it was such a concern.
3. It's not hard to switch the safety on and off on a .380 or most guns for that matter if youy feel your life is in immediate danger.
4. If he was worried about a prowler, why was his child hangin out in the living room? Was she going to provide back up????
R.I.P. to the little girl. This story makes me think of my 2 year old niece who I just saw last night.
