I hated the ending of 500 days of Summer (Spoilers for the movie)

Why is it stupid, Summer didn't want to marry Tom, she didn't even want a serious relationship with him remember. Then she met the one, why is that so unbelievable.

The two things I hated were as follows:

 

1.) Summer's reason for marrying some other guy and the fact she couldn't have known them for longer than a few months before deciding to marry.

2.) Autumn's entire introduction, I felt, made a complete mockery of what the film was about. That there are no "fated" meetings and Summer's entire reasoning doesn't make sense, in my opinion.

 

Some cosmic superpower is watching everyone in the world and deciding who they will pair off with and gives them the divine foresight to let them know? I mean..., really? The entire backgroung message was completely laughable in my honest opinion.

I understand what you're saying, but

1) Summer just knew that the other guy was the one, why does how long they've known each other an issue?

2) But isn't meeting Autumn "fate", it took falling in love with Summer and being Heartbroken to get Tom back into Architecture, which is how he met Autumn in the first place.

3) Maybe its just me, but Love doesn't always make sense, in my opinion

2.) That's the entire issue I have with it. Just "knowing" and the explanation being some cosmic superpower is just ridiculous. Tom just "knew" Summer was the one and yet that didn't turn out well. Why does everything have to be some inhumane power taking control of people and making their decisions for them as some philosophical garbage people come up with to seem smart? Ugh...

3.) But love is slow, not something you automatically decide on because some guy comments on some comic you're reading.

1) She said she didn't want anything serious, she didn't believe in Boyfriend/Girlfriend. Summer saw them as friends with benefits, more than being in love. It wasn;t fair to tom, but she made it clear she wasn't in it for a serious relationship.

2) Tom thought she was the "one", but Summer didn't feel the same there is nothing he can do about. I don't think people think of this stuff to seem smart, its just something that people believe in. Just because you don't like it or agree with it, doesn't mean it isn't true

3) Love isn't one set thing, love just is whatever it may be. We don't control it and we can't help it. If you haven't experienced something, like falling madly in love in a short period of time, the  you shouldn't knock it
