They'd be crazy not to have something like the nuchuck.

If Sony are smart they want developers to be in the position where they can put a game on Wii and PS3 easily due to similar schemes, and Natal is the odd one out needed a totally different input scheme.

But we'll see - I take all this stuff with a big pinch of salt until I see something official

This is absolutely Sony's strategy. They'll want to capitalize on 3rd party japanese titles. Since most 3rd party studios have a ps3 engine now, they can create one set of assets for the ps3 title, one set of controls and gameplay, then load the same assets into their wii engine, lower the resolution, reduce sound quality and lighting etc then release the same game on the wii.

That makes sense.  I expect to see stuff go the other way too, or a mix of Wii/PSN type stuff.  I mean, with similar controls putting say Boom Blox or Madword onto PS3 would be relatively easy.

I get the feeling that, at least initially, Sony would be happy with lower resolution solid titles mixed with new titles if it meant Arc got a lot of support.

This has been a very odd gen, though.  Wii storming to success with a blue ocean strategy but struggling in a lot of genres, HD gaming being embraced well (combined sales a bit about the Wii as an 'SD' platform) but with split sales over two consoles, the growth of online/MP as huge for consoles in the West, Wii being seen as 'unique' to develop for with PS3/360 sharing a lot of titles...

and soon we'll have 3 sets of motion controls, one that is markedly different and 2 that may (just a may at the moment) be similar enough to share titles.

crazy.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
