While I disagree that Arc is the same as the Wiimote - it does use camera too; that is certainly the impression it gives. And the big glowing ball on top? - Lame.
It's not that the tech doesn't have potential but Sony has a big image problem because on one hand the Wiimote has been out for years and this looks like another wiimote, on the other, because it's launching against Natal which does appear to be something fresh, new and exciting.
And it's not just convincing the public it's exciting and worth buying into, they have to convince developers and publishers too.
