Five more years? I know Gamasutra revealed Microsoft was hiring developers to work on several next generation titles. If Microsoft is already developing these next generation titles then how exactly does the X-Box 360 have another five years left. Also with dropping marketshare I think Microsoft will have another X-Box either at this E3 or E3 2011!

If they want to have some good games on launch with new console then they would have to start developing games at least 3 years before launch. Even now 3-4 years is normal development time for HD games and I doubt it would get any shorter with next generation. So if they would launch next generation console this year, they should have started game development 2 years ago. So I doubt there is any chance that console could be launched this year (they could but it would have no games) and I doubt even next year.
