in regards to your number 2...
im not exactly sure if the butler guy is insisting that the triptocaine or the ARI will kill him if he uses it too much. early signs point to the tripto, but the last time u use ARI to figure out its shelby, the butler guy appears once u put them on and says the same shit again. then i noticed in ARI my eye was bleeding down my face until i took it off. also in the ending, the tanks appear in ARI, then it seems like jayden takes out the physical case file as if ARI is what will kill him. then the tanks appear again lol
in regards to the trials, i did all with no hesitation except the finger cutting. i looked around for stuff cuz i figured he might die if the bleeding wasnt stopped. so i found all the meds/pole for cauterization before using the knife lol
