it's not 90 day's it's a full year from the date that you purchased the unit.

as for their FIX the people that have had to send in their unit , have stated the service has been anywhere from great service to ok to not ok service.

I guess it depend's on who you get on the other end an how well their day has been.

you should be fine from personal experience

my nephew had to send his ps2 slim into being repaired a couple of year's ago and the rep i talked to was nice and the help was fast and quick.

the PS2 came back in about a week and a half works ever since. not a problem.
