Even assuming most students would care enough about drugs to try and get them from a school of all things...
Why the hell would anyone take them when word spread out on how people secretly got them threw by putting it in their underpants?
This of course assumes that all teenagers have no morals and never follow rules and should therefore have no American civil rights as this Justice obviously believes and the media regularly portrays.
Oh, and of course Vice-Principal Redding gets immunity for the decision he made. That's completely fair to the victim and the basis for it "lower courts have no idea what they're doing so that means this guy shouldn't be held accountable for his decision".
Especially when he had no remorse for what he did and actively spoke out he was doing the right thing even though there was no burden of proof and it was a completely unsubstantiated claim.
If it had been an adult who went through it or a child in any other circumstance besides a school zone then there would have been more media attention and more moral outrage. But of course, it was only a child in a school zone. They don't have the same rights there like they do everywhere else in America. They're not human there so any injustice they receive shouldn't give them the right to punish those who did them wrong.
Had it been any other setting it would have erupted more public outrage.
But whatever, children should be treated like third-rate citizens in American schools.

Yes, the victim "won" but I find it laughable that she can't sue the Vice-Principal personally because lower courts weren't really doing anything about the issue. -_-;
