What do you thin about Gay Parade\Pride Events?

I find them obnoxious, but i find parades in general to be obnoxious, and i figure in this case it's a necessary annoyance to help further the cause of gay rights and such

 

I'd hope we can move beyond the need for them in the next 30 years or so...
