How is the gameplay otherwise? Will I be ok with the story if I haven't played any other SO?

I may buy it when its cheaper here...I would've traded in WKC for it, but the WKC online is amazing so no.

you will like the storyline, because its the prequel , Gameplay in Star Ocean games was always the king. you might wanna change the langauge each time you meet a lymle , kay?
