That is the current thought... they don't even have the votes for that. Afterall the first time they threatened reconciliation actually was to get moderate democrats on board for "You can have some imput or none."
There is also some talk of moderates not voting for it because of the abortion wording.
It really depends if Moderate democrats are more afraid of passing the bill, or NOT passing the bill and not passing anything and how much pressure can be put on them.
There is a reason why Obama tried last minute to tack on some stuff republicans might like afterall.
The televised debates didn't work out well for the Democrats, since they pretty much showed that the Republicans actually do have ideas for healthcare unlike how the democrats tried to paint them.
