You going to be a game designer or something in the future? I also notice these little things, and to be honest, it annoys me too. You speak the truth! 
It's OK to make little judgments here and there people. Like this, we can improve for the next time. It's not because you dislike something you see from a game that the whole package sucks ass.
As for the score, I never really cared about someone else's opinion on something I always wanted to try anyways. Too bad this will allow people to grow their e-pen more or something and win pointless debates on the web though.
