1) This article is a year old... exactly... how did someone even find this to post? Consumer behavior trends that isn't short term isn't that reliable.
2) What a consumer says they plan on doing and what they do are often different.
3) They say to realize those sales it'd have to be about the same price as the 360 and Wii... I don't think you can really say the PS3 qualifies as that yet.
