WHAT!?! Mario Kart 64 was dumbed down so badly!! The tracks were so wide that 8 cars could drive side by side!! Anybody who tried to learn the fundamentals and break records in the time trials would lose to inferior racers because the losers always got game changing weapons (lightning, blue shell). CTR rewarded strategy and skill!! It was an actual racing game.
