7.5/10 according to metacritic. Someone needs to explain to me how 100, 75, 50 and 20 add up to 48 average.

http://www.metacritic.com/about/scoring.shtml

"The METASCORE is considered a weighted average because we assign more significance, or weight, to some critics and publications than we do to others, based on the overall stature and quality of those critics and publications."

I can't even believe they posted that Destructoid Review. It's the embodiement of what's wrong with the video game critics. This is the only medium that JESUS CHRIST: VAMPIRE HUNTER would be more critically acclaimed than, say, No Country for Old Men.

This is a pretty bad comparison.

I really don't see a game like Deadly PRemonition being transformers 2. Games like Gears of war, Uncharted would be transformers 2... Expensive, pretty looking and unoriginal fluff that is made for the masses to gobble up...

If anything, videogame industry is the only industry where a lot of the times, the size of your games budget determines its AAA status with critics.

Fixed. Although I was speaking in general about video game critics and not just this one situation. You don't give a game a 10 because "it's so absolutely terrible that it's perfect". How unprofessional can you get?
