| CommonMan said: Rocketpig- Sushi - I prefer fuji-ya there is one in south minneapolis, and one in saint paul, great yellowtail and they have cheap bento boxes. Sushi Tango is good but it's right in the heart of uptown, and uptown used to be a really great eclectic artsy area, but now has an Apple store and a Columbia sportswear store where many great places used to be. If you need to bring a date for impressions sake sometime, go to Chino Latino and eat a fried scorpion, that should do it. I have a billion restuarant suggestions. DO go to a Wild game in the Excel, it's one of the most beautiful modern sports venues I've ever seen, and who cares about hockey when you can sit in a steak restaurant and watch the action from the upper deck? You already know where to go for your fully automatic weapon needs. ![]() I'll see you at Target field (I have to give props since the wifey works at Target) we can watch old $200 million Mauer get bounced in the first round of the playoffs by the Yanks again. ![]() I hate the suburbs so all I can say is look for a place in Minneapolis if you can, you can find a studio near Loring Park (by the Walker) for $500 or a one bedroom for $600. There's too much to put here, we have a lot to do in this town, even in the winter. . . |
Seriously, $500/600 for a small place? Awesome! That is so freakin' cheap.
My sis also works at Target. She's a store manager in Minneapolis. I need to convince her to transfer to corporate so I can get free tickets.
Thanks for all the sushi recommendations. I'll definitely hit up the place with good yellowtail as it's my favorite sushi. Simple, but delicious.
Oh, and I'm definitely hitting up Excel. It's been awhile since I watched an NHL game and I want to see where the Wild play.
