I have a hard time believing Steam for the Mac will include port code to allow Windows games to play on Mac OS.
I'm not sure that's even possible without a major reworking of code, which would not be a free service.
Not that I'd complain or anything, seeing as how I have a pretty big list of games on my Steam account, some of which I wouldn't mind terribly playing on my MBP, I just don't see it happening.
I think it just means that they'll be distributing Games for Mac through Steam for Mac, which means a relatively small catalog of games, but better than nothing if you are a Mac only PC user.
