I borrowed a PS1 from a friend just to play the remake of Chrono Trigger just to see the stupid new cutscenes (which all sucked), and it took twice as long to beat as the SNES version due to new loading times before and after every single fight in the whole damn game.

Then I borrowed Chrono Cross, and I played even past the stupid part where you switch bodies with the bad guy, and got to "You must find 7 magical dragons blah blah blah." I found the first dragon and he said "I am the boss dragon. You must go find the other 6 then come back to me." I turned that shit off and never touched it again. It's probably the stupidest game I've ever played aside from the first Resident Evil. The characters were all stupid and 1-dimensional, like "I'm a cactus" "I'm a doll" "I'm a pirate" "I'm a girl" "I'm a kid" "I'm a furry" "I'm some emo everyman protagonist." I realized I didn't care about a single character or action or decision in the game, and when it made me make stupid decisions it was insulting my intelligence.
