Insomniac Games' James Stevenson has said that the developer is currently working "on more than one game right now", and that the studio "can't wait to show" everybody what's in store.

Posting on Insomniac's website, the studio's Senior Community Manager said:

"If you're hoping that I will announce a future title here, you will be disappointed. That will not prevent me from telling you that we are busy working here on some really cool stuff that we can't wait to show you.

We began to ramp up on other projects, and are currently underway on more than one game right now (which will be no surprise to anyone who knows how our production pipeline works).

"We've been trying to evolve our production pipeline to give us more time for iteration, as well as better efficiencies along the way."

It's widely rumoured that the Ratchet & Clank developer is currently working on a sequel to 2008's alien-shooting FPS Resistance 2, but what else could the studio be working on? We reckon a future Ratchet & Clank is most likely.

Could one of these be the 'surprise sequel' Sony is set to announce tomorrow? Watch this space.
