Heavy Rain or Silent Hill : Shattered Memories? (spoilers probobly)

So I went to the store and bought Heavy Rain and Dead Space Extraction (shockingly great).  I then proceeded to literally sit in a chair and play non stop until I beat Heavy Rain.  Now first off amazing game, the ending was a little too much of a twist maybe (logic wise), but on replaying it, im sure it'll be more fitting.

But I must say I preferred Shattered Memories.  Maybe it was the subject matter, or the tenser gameplay, but it was slightly (ever so) better than Heavy Rain to me.

Does anyone else agree?  Why or why not?
