your question is weird.... In a JRPG the combat system is that gameplay...so outside of combat your Xxploring Basel which is huge, Customizing your weapons, Customizing you Characters, side missions?

Nevermind. I'll find out myself. I just figured someone might be able to tell me how the game functioned. Afterall no two games are the same.. If all games were it would be boring.
