i suggest not to buy the wii, i was really dissapointed in nintendo and the new direction they took with the wii, i bought it because i was a nintendo fan boy, and now i just regret it *so im selling it for a decent chunk of change*....i mean brawl was great, and zelda, but in the end, your getting the same thing all over again imo, sure they were innovation with the wii in the first place, but they really arent hitting the audience i wish they were hitting....o well, maybe next gen, but seriously though, imo, dont get it, you can buy a psp with that money or save it up for 360 elite

If you keep replaying the same game over and over again, I am pretty sure you're going to get the same thing all over again.

please dont act dumb, you know what i meant >_>...

Honestly selling any system unless you're netting a profit somehow for a used system is always a stupid choice.  And now you're saying all that after the huge lineup this year, it's quite a chuckle

OT: All the systems are great, personally my Wii is my main console, probably the most games I've owned since the SNES era, and the most I've gamed since then.  But it's all based in taste, I like my niche and innovative games that focus on style and gameplay, on the other hand the Wii has some really awesome traditional games as well like New Super Mario Bros and Call of Duty Modern Warfare, I really don't see how you can go wrong.

Not to mention in the span of 2 months there will be MH3, SMG2, Metroid Other M, and Sin and Punishment 2. Then Nintendo will be having their E3 showcase to show off the rest of the year's line up.  If you're a core gamer the time to get a Wii is now, and there's the backlog of titles to pick from.

well if you count the game time i had on it then its not a stupid choice....a stupid choice would be if i never played it....either way, nothing is dumber than just letting it sit there in the dust....and like i said before, the line up looks the same to me, and frankly i find mostly all wii games to be below of what i would call a good game. cant wait to i get my psp though, VC2 ftw ^^

Clean your house fool, there's no reason for a pile of dust to be randomly in your room.

Then you clearly don't play any games or probably even look for games to play, or more likely don't even own a Wii and like a lot of people just get on the forums, claim you have one, say its "collecting dust" just to claim all the games are bad "in your opinion" so essentially you can get away with trolling.

no i dont think so, first off, i hate trolling and love to the forums clean, second, i do play games on the wii, ive played brawl for over 700 hours (yes i will own you), beaten zelda twilight princess, and SMG, and my favorite game this gen is fire emblem: radiant dawn....

its just a saying, meaning i havent touched it in awhile *well there is actually alot of dust in my room lol*

When did i say all games on the wii are bad? i said MOSTLY ALL games on the wii are below of what I WOULD CALL a good game

you seem to think that im just some sony fanboy off to kill the wii but im not, i think its a great console for the right type of audience, the audience that nintendo is trying to hit, and im just not a part of it, i was simply giving the OP my input, no trolling here

Well you ride a thin line most of the time, and you've got a history, hell even admitted to coming to VGC and trolling up a storm to begin with.  But the fact still remains if you're not playing a console it's your own damn fault.

Even failed systems have good games to be played on them, and selling any console, unless you have a newer console that can play your old games, is damn near retarded cause you're out the money you spent on the console, the likely loss you're selling the console and games for, and now you can't boot up the games you enjoy or go gem hunting years down the road when there's a shit ton of games to be had for less than 5 bucks.

It's just terrible logic and a waste of your money...

And No you won't own me in Brawl period

it sure is my fought, i dont like most of the games, thanks for that input

the wii does have good games, just not many imo for the last time, i did not say all the wii's games are bad, why is selling a console i dont play stupid? or selling games i dont play stupid? leaving them there to dust is just stupid if im never going to play them again...i made good money and the system i wont play anymore, so i could buy a new system i will play, it makes perfect sense to me....and i sold all the games already, i even sell my ps3 games i love, because i finished them, wont be playing them again.....and like i said i never wasted my money, i played the system and sold it at 250$ with brawl, fire emblem, and zelda...its a good time since friends of mine that want it cannot find any...

the only thing that seems illogical to me is keeping something i know i not gonna use anymore, im not the type of guy to go "gem hunting" down the road.

and i wish i could own you in brawl, but you know what ruins that? the online that could have been really implemented....i wish, i wish to GOD it had good online, but sadly, nintendo's "audience" doesnt care.....and im not trolling brawls online, but it is less than what it could have been, and thats another reason i dont play my wii anymore,  i got it the first year, and then once i got my ps3, it was never touched again
