There is combat, but it isn't very deep. It is based on a mixture of leveling, and weapon types. You have a backpack to fit a certain amount of weapons, which also is upgradeable. There is a small weapon, large weapon, and range(slingshot) types. They all upgrade linearly, but it isn't set up as such. It is somewhat of a mixture between an RPG and Action-Adventure, but it leans more to RPG in terms of customibility and uses. When you fight, there is two basic attacks a quick weak attack, and a charged long attack. Different enemies require different types of weapons to fight, but since there is only a few types, you won't really need to be bothered by figuring out. It isn't too slow, and it isn't too fast. The enemies are surprisingly varied, and they do require more strategy than what may be seen in the trailer. The focus is of course on exploration, and the battle system adds to this element, but it wouldn't pull itself up without the adventuring aspects, which if they were to be taken out, this would be a horrible game. The whole game is story, adventuring, and atmospheric focused. There is a good amount of backtracking, but never is it tedious, and the areas are lush and interesting. There are small little stories scattered in found items, and the things you find are very interesting. The game is great, and like I said, I recommend it to everybody. |
What would you Fragile's storyline from a 1 to 10?
