I gota agree Mass Effect framerate was a bit stupid. The overhaul that was ME2 - from characters, to story line in general, to awesome combat really wanted me to never touch ME1 outside of the fact I missed Wrex and the storyline in the first was pretty damn good.
It's just that simple.
