I think Heavy Rain is the biggest innovation, new style game-play and story based gaming/adventure gaming on a console platform is the best

Heavy rain is not innovative at all.

It borrows heavily from games like Shenmue and the old PC interactive movies (FMVs)

It's just an  CG movie at best with interactive sequences which has been done before.

Funniest lines I've read in a while. Someone hasn't played it.

Sounds like someone else hasn't played Indigo Prophecy. :P

Sounds like someone doesn't know what they're talking about. Have you even played HEAVY RAIN OR looked through my game collection?

So educate us all, what exactly sets Heavy Rain apart from Indigo Prophecy?  Well, besides worse controls, forced minigames and SONY.

I don't see why that is even necessary, but ok.

Anyway, to your question: look through the official thread. I have educated those who actually care about the game enough. The very way you walk in HEAVY RAIN sets it apart from Indigo.

Plus, Heavy Rain doesn't suck.  That's a huge difference between it and Indigo Prophecy.  Not to mention the whole "four person perspective/ you can die and the game continues/Motion controls/Branching storyline/nudity" thing.

Branching four character storyline?  That's the genre shearing "innovation"?

Indigo Prophecy had sex scenes btw.  Or at least it did when it was called Fahrenheit.

The question was what set it apart from Indigo Prophecy, was it not?  You control a reporter.  There.  Question answered......again.
