No Atari copied Ralph Baer, Nintendo was the driving force behind arcades. However Nintendo may have been inspired by Pong but they didn't copy the games. Nintendo created platforming and created fresh IP's and controller interfaces. Nintendo has never ever really copied anyone.

Haha Nintendo has never copied anyone? Well I seem to remember Nintendo still using cartridges when PS1 came to the market on a CD. Next for Nintendo? Cds in the Gamecube! There is some copying for you.

In that case, Sony just copyed the previous machines that had CD player such as the Phillips CDI, Wowow and SEGA CD.
