- Online Gaming - nah , thats not something new, i've been playing online games since ages ago, well on PC that is, even though im not a fan of online play. and in last gen there was also Xbox live.
- Motion Controls - yes i agree with this one, even though it still have a long way to go.
- Achievements - i think this is second big innovation, even though they don't add much to the gameplay, but it seems people are addicted to it.
- Tech Leap - hell no, the leap wasn't that big and older PC games still look alot better and run smoother than alot of newer games, i think the leap from PS1 --> PS2 was alot bigger, and the original Xbox made it even more bigger.
- Downloadable Content - these been on PCs (and some consoles) since they were made, and they're still annoying as they were the first time, i dont think its an innovation rather than a DOWNGRADE (developers supposed to release a full game not a half a game with DLC)
- Other - hmm.... i think of three things
- full downloadable games - like the games released on Steam / XBLA / PSN / VC .
- OnLive - if it succeeds
- 3-D Gaming - if it succeeds
I live for the burn...and the sting of pleasure...
I live for the sword, the steel, and the gun...
- Wasteland - The Mission.
