God of War 3 is a hack n' slash game. If you like Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden games, God of War 3 is for you.

I will be buying God of War 3, because I enjoyed Devil May Cry 4 and Ninja Gaiden 2. I never played God of War 1 or 2. There is no point IMO playing old games.

I tried to replay FFVII and FFVIII recently, I couldn't bring myself to do it, everything looks way too blocky, maybe if I still had a CRT..

that is a 13 year old game... playing it on a wide screen 40+ inch tv is asking way too much from it... i am currently playing it on my 46" wide and yeah, at the start it was hard... but by the 2nd hour or so, it was all gravy again... 

 

and ofcourse ff7 is blocky... it was one of the first 3rd rpgs...
