Frankly, I haven't seen anything from preview videos to make me think FFXIV will be any different than FFXI. Aside from the graphical upgrade and a new story. And well...I play RPGs for everything but those two things. Especially MMORPGs.
So, for me, I'll be holding out for Star Wars: The Old Republic. A game that actually looks like its not only doing something different from WoW, but trying to change MMORPGs as a whole. And that's from the gameplay and exploration side of things, what I look for in an RPG.
