I'll look at reviews, check out the price, figure out how much I'll actually play it (MMORPG's take a lot of time, and if there's other games taking too much time, I'll probably skip this)

Oh, and if it's pay to play, I'll not bother at ALL.
Well, I'm screwed anyway, since it's definately going to be a monthly subscription..

I'm not going near another WoW scenario again.. (trapped for 3 years in that madness.. and I tend to try to be the best all the time.. that explain why I had full tier 3 on lvl 60, and also great gear on lvl 70.. went more arena that time, and got myself full S3 arena gear before I quit that shit.. I kinda lost all my friends and hopes of ever getting good grades after WoW, and since I quit, I've tried establish my life back again.. going quite good so far I guess)

I never make the same mistake twice, so I'll never go into a MMORPG again, even if it's free.. Not when I KNOW I'm going to love it..

Funny how that works, you're debating on whether or not to get a game because you'll like it TOO much. Isn't it usually the opposite? =)

I completely understand, I got pretty into WoW as well, and that desire to be at the top, I understand it well. I got lucky though. Before I got any of my T2 stuff (AQ just came out), and I was still using some blues even, I was outhealing most of my guild. I was high on the heal charts, and not even on the overheal charts. So once I learned how to become fully mana-efficient (it's all about the timed gheals of various ranks) I ended up getting slightly bored. Ended up quitting before I went too crazy.

That said, I'm planning on looking into FF14. I've been craving some sort of MMO, so it's between this, SW:TOR, and/or Lego Universe. I'm interested in the "leveling" system (since it seems you still need to grind for your gear, not enough information released yet to know though). If it's cool, I'll play it. If not, I'll pass. Never on PS3, definitely on PC. Signed up for all 3 betas, sooo hopefully I'll get a chance to try them out. I just hope all 3 aren't amazing. I'm pretty sure I'll love LU, but I don't have time for both of the others -.-

@Some others here, there's NO way this game will be F2P. They won't pull a Monster Hunter Tri, since that game will be F2P here simply because it's not such a well-established franchise here. FF is, and there's absolutely no reason for SE to follow suit. A trial is possible though.
