If EVERY Fat Ps3 has been affected.

How will those people who don't have it connected to the internet (which seems a lot) fix the problem if it is fixed via a update?

Seriously what an epic fuck up.

a CD disc could be sent out with the BIOS fix on the CD

so there gonna send millions of disc out ?? i dont think that will really work

I repeat

*They could create a GUEST login for all users that only has access to PS3 updates.

They can also downlaod the update to a USB Flash Drive and install it from that.

They could send out a CD with the fix on it to all who ask for it.

They could also disable the requirement for authentication/copyright check on the PSN allowing anyone with a valid PW to connect to the PSN. (this could be very dangerous though as it would alow any decent hacker free access to the PSN).*

As far as not seeing this happen.. With a major issue like this, Sony will do this and more to help clear it's name and gain consumer confidence. In fact, I even see them going as far as giving out PSN dollars to any effected user, provided they fill out the required form and thier serial number is verified.
