sorry but your post isn't true whatsoever.....in fact in the past 3-4 years there was only one instance where xboxlive wouldn't boot up for several hourse and MS gave everyone the Arcade game Undertow for free to make up for it. Just saying xbl goes down on VERY rare occasions.
OT: I doubt it but there are developers that are saying that none of their systems are working AT ALL and that this has affected development of PS3 games, if this is true and they lost information then yes this will be a massive blow to Sony
