I was looking at the Sony's twitter account right around the time of the crash, and then again earlier (12 hours after the crash) and noticed that they've gained 10,000 more followers, which accounts for about a 6% increase in the past 12 hours.
In the past 50 minutes since then, they've gained a 50% increase in the amount of followers they've been receiving as compared to the previous 12 hours. I expect them to receive a gain of about 10% by noon today.
Btw, I don't use Twitter, and have never viewed a single tweet until someone mentioned to me that Sony had acknowledged the problem through their Twitter acount:
