Nintendo is suffering shortages too. Microsofts the only one with sufficient stock. Shortages happen all the time you'll find Sony will meet demand soon enough just like Nintendo will. Keep in mind Sony didn't expect such a boost in sales. What if Sony had manufactured millions of units just to find demand wasn't there?
Its better to lack stock then be over stocked!
