30% of game developers feel their salary doesn't cover cost of living

my monthly expenditures are arround €1000 and i live in the center of paris.... what kind of life do these guys expect to live? going out every evening poping a bottle of crystal??
I could pay that for myself with what I earn, but I have the good sense to not spend it all for leasure... Some people need to grow up and look at life a different way.
