It's a dumb study. PZ meyers (vocal atheist) critisized people for bragging about this study because it's such a flawed study to begin with. A statistically negligible difference on a test that is largely deemed irrelevant today and grossly flawed in and of itself.
And chairman mao, atheists don't hate god, they don't believe that gods exist, and your reasoning is backwards. The implication (though flawed as I stated above) is that if your IQ were higher, you'd be more likely to have that world view.
