I like the Unreal Engine 3, i have enjoyed some great games from that engine

Lost Odyssey
StrangleHold
Turok
Bioshock
Rise of The Argonauts
Gears of War 1 & 2

So yeah, the engine may not be perfect, but it does it job pretty efficiently.
