No noticeable difference between HD 720p streaming and 720p disc content.  And all the content even non-HD looks better than DVD quality. 

Oh and netflix will be getting 1080p w 5.1 surround soon too!

I have to disagree on them being equal. When i watch streaming i notice things that aren't on the disk version.
