I think this game has a lot of good things going for it, but I don't expect it to be my favorite FF game, and I don't think any game will take away FFVII's place in my heart... then again, I never thought any game would conquer my love for DQIV either, and FFVII sure did, so I am willing to believe it could happen some day.
Odds are, it will be a new Dragon Quest game before a Final Fantasy one though...
