that book was awesome.
JG Ballard - Empire of the Sun. Terry Pratchett - the entire Discworld series Anne Rice - the best vampire books out there. much better than today's crap. (not looking at anyone in particular, Stephanie Meyer) ¬_¬ Mitch Albom - The Five People You Meet in Heaven and For One More Day Natsuo Kirino - Out. short, but gritty and dark. Neil Gaiman - Stardust and Neverwhere. Robert Louis Stevenson - Treasure Island. not too long, but a total classic. plus, it suffers from the "the author was born in the same city as me" syndrome, so its awesome anyway Also, one by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince. Everyone should read it. |
Haven't red most of the books you mention but Treasure Island and The little Prince are two of my Favorites
