I put off buying a a PS1 and a Saturn because I was waiting for the N64. When the console, finally came, I was blown away! I had Mario 64, Pilotwings 64, Wave Race, and Killer Instinct Gold. But then my neighbor let me play Tekken 2.
Tekken 2 was WAAAAAAAY better than Killer Instinct. Plus the CGI cutscenses and music were better, too. I wound up buying Tomb Raider before I even had a PS1 to play it on. Then, I got a PS1 (almost a month later) with Resident Evil and Battle Arena Toshinden.
So, Tekken made me want a PS1. Resident Evil made me love the PS1.
