I think it has to do with the feel of the story and enviroment, there is just that ...well kind of like this person's take, it's that unique feel that you find in book's an in some movies that hammer the story in the story into your very Soul.

It's kind of like it transfer's it's story outside of a video game. It's like you know it's a video game , but because of the way it's moved within it's story, it's story just hit's very close to Home in real life,
