EA's Strategy to Counter Used Games Sales

Which would be as unnoticeable to EA as if you buying a used copy.

In order for their to be used copies, there have to be new copies sold first.  I buy some games new and some games used.  But for games that are going to do this, I won't buy them at all.

I see, so for someone who was going to buy this new, the idea of getting some extra stuff for free has put you off because you don't want other companies to do this to the games that you would buy used?  Am I correct?

Then it makes a teeny bit of sense.
