I'll look at it later and comment on the tools but just know, there are already programs that do exactly what you're doing. I actually thought the above screenshot was from RPGMaker.
It would make sense to attempt a free version of RPGMaker if it costs $500 but it only costs $60 a license so that's much harder to compete with. Don't get me wrong, I think what you're doing a fun exercise but just don't expect it to take off (it could, just don't expect it to).
