Let's see...XBL is $50 a year, and MORE people are using it then the FREE PSN...lol...seems like they are NOT equal.

No.

Excluding PSP numbers......still no

^This right here

As the PSN numbers also count accounts made online and used on PS forums and also since everyone has a psn account for everyday of the year....it easily has more people using it.

Sony = accounts PSP, PS3, Playstation forums (!!!)

MS = unique Users

Your joking right? Did you even read the posts you're replying to? Even if we assume that there are ppl with 10 PSN accounts while EVERY single account on XBL is unique, there is no way to prove how many unique users there are on PSN vs. Live. The only thing we can go by is official numbers, and those numbers clearly state that there are more PSN accounts than Live.

I just agreed with the post I quoted.

MS has more than 23 million unique users, that is an official number.
Sony just talks about accounts, because that way they can include multiple accounts and make themself look like they would be leading over the Xbox 360.

I don't know one European PSN user who has only 1 account. 1 for Japanese, 1 for European and 1 for US content is almost a standard here. Then add 1 account for the PSP and 1 for the forums and you have 5 accounts for one user.

To me, it feels like they are just spinning the numbers, but I don't blame them, it it business. But you will never hear them saying something like "1 million people play one game every Saturday", like MS did with Halo 3. Or "we had more than 2 million people online at the same time" like MS did after the MW2 launch.

I think it is actually great that MS don't spin their numbers like this. Think about all these Windows Live accounts

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
